Spruce
Spruce is a lawn and garden care product developed through Procter & Gamble Ventures that introduces a simplified, user-friendly approach to weed and grass control. The product rethinks a traditionally complex and intimidating category by focusing on clear product architecture, intuitive use, and a more approachable consumer experience. Spruce has since launched publicly and is available through major retail channels. As part of an industrial design educational co-op, I worked on upstream product and experience design during early development. I supported the team through design research, user-experience exploration, concept CAD and visualizations, and the development of two functional MVP prototypes for early user testing. These concepts explored alternative product architectures and interaction models and helped inform design decisions that shaped the final Spruce product line.
